Teppan Hayashi now open at Press Hall
Press Hall is excited to open its doors to Japanese restaurant Teppan Hayashi in the mezzanine.
Offering traditional Japanese cuisine inspired by local New Zealand produce, customers will be treated to a set menu of individual, handmade dishes that change regularly. Among others, dishes include tempura, grilled fish, wagyu beef as well as twenty varieties of sashimi.
“We’re delighted to open our restaurant and offer Wellingtonians an authentic Japanese dining experience with a unique and seasonal Kiwi twist,” says Head Chef, Kazutoshi Nomura, who brings a decade of culinary experience from traditional Japanese restaurants in Kobe, Japan.
“All our dishes are crafted individually and with love so you can always expect something appetising for both the palate and the eyes. Our open kitchen design, where customers can see the chefs hard at work, means guests get a lively and authentic Japanese culinary experience.”
The highly anticipated restaurant is the eleventh eatery to be unveiled since Press Hall’s opening in February this year.
